30 Days to Being Humane :: Instruction #2

Instruction #2

“Observation means that you are in contact with the Universe around you without observing it with your physical, emotional, or mental memories.

You do not talk to others through your memory; you do not look at people through your angers, fears, loves, & hates.

You look through the eyes of your Pure Self.”

 – Torkom Saraydarian

All of us have self-defeating programs running like apps. in the background.

They are formed by past experiences, mistakes & social propaganda.

These programs are ingrained & repeat in a loop;  constantly triggered by doubts.

Self-defeating programs are updated by our thoughts & language.

I can’t. I won’t. I’m afraid.

Such programs influencing our behavior actually cause further error & disappointment.

We expect shit to happen.

When it does, our image of ourselves is re-enforced.

Cyclical thinking creates self fulling prophecy.

Perception is a conscious act.

Practice objectivity.

Observe Life with a camera’s eye.

It has no opinion, no history, no expectations.

It merely records.

Believe it & you will see it.

You can change conditioning by intention.

Go forward in the right direction.

The past is everything before this moment.

Future is all possibilities & no limits.

And always arriving.
